AirportCairo.com is an independent, unofficial guide to Cairo International Airport (CAI). These are the rules we follow when publishing.

Sources

Facts about terminals, visas, baggage and fees are checked against primary sources: the airport operator, the official Egypt e-Visa portal and airline websites. Each guide links to the sources used.

Verification dates

Every guide shows a "Last verified" date, which matches the dateModified value in our structured data. We only change that date when the content has actually been re-checked.

Prices

Taxi, transfer and parking prices are given in Egyptian pounds (EGP) as ranges observed on the verification date. Prices change often; treat them as estimates.

Fewer, better guides

We consolidate overlapping articles into one definitive guide per topic and redirect old URLs, rather than publishing many similar posts.

Advertising & affiliate links

Sponsored placements are clearly labelled and marked rel="sponsored". They never influence editorial content. Off-topic product posts are excluded from search indexing.

AI assistance

Drafting tools may be used, but every published guide is reviewed and fact-checked by a person before publication.

Corrections

If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it and update the verification date.
